Deborah Helms

About Deborah

Mrs. Helms spent her formative years in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. She graduated from Northeast High School. She received her Bachelor degree in Biology from University of South Florida. She received her Bachelor of Medicine degree from University of Florida. She went on to receive her Masters degree at the University of Nebraska. She is credentialed through the National Commission of Physicians Assistants.

Family

Deborah is married to Dr. Fred Helms. He is an assistant dean at ACOM in Dothan. She has three children (Heather, April, and Tim). She is a member of Covenant United Methodist Church. During her free time, she enjoys her artwork (she has been a professional artist and photographer for years), bicycle spinning, ballroom dancing, and traveling.

Mrs. Helms specializes in bio identical hormone replacement. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Medicine. In the fifteen years she has been working with hormones, she has traveled to multiple conferences specializing in hormone replacement education. She started with her first conference with the PCCA (Professional Compounding Centers of America). She has attended multiple American Academy of Anti Aging Medicine conferences(A4M) and Age Management Medicine Group(AMMG)conferences. She has been to multiple conferences with Dr. Eldred Taylor(Foundation of Alternative and Integrative Medicine). She has studied under Dr. C.W. Randolph, Dr. Jennifer Landa, and Dr. Sara Gottfried.
